Thursday & Sunday Nights · Dine In or Takeaway
The Woodfire Oven
Five wood fired sourdough pizzas from $18, two nights a week, on a vineyard thirty minutes from Canberra and fifteen from Bungendore.
Two Nights a Week
Thursday and Sunday, and That Is It
The woodfire oven is lit on Thursday and Sunday nights only. Not Friday, not Saturday — those nights the kitchen is running the full à la carte and the oven stays cold. It is worth knowing before you drive out, because a woodfired pizza is the one thing we cannot do on request. Dinner runs 5pm to 9pm, and Thursday is also trivia night, so the room fills early.

The Base
Thirty-Six Hours Before You Order It
A 36-hour sourdough prove, Mount.Zero extra virgin olive oil and Pecorino Romano, cooked in the woodfire oven. The long prove is the whole point: it is what makes a base you can eat the crust of rather than leave on the plate.
Toppings move with the season and the cellar — pepperberry hot honey on The Jovi, nduja on The Praneel, chargrilled pumpkin and beets on The Ash.

If You Cannot Eat Gluten
The Pizzas Are the One Thing We Cannot Adapt
All five woodfire pizzas contain gluten, and the kitchen does not make a gluten free base — we would rather say so than serve a coeliac guest something we are not confident in. The rest of the menu is a different story: twenty-five of the thirty-two dishes on the à la carte contain no gluten at all, several are built gluten free as standard, and the kitchen runs separate preparation areas and equipment. Before You Drive Out
Common Questions
When are the wood fired pizzas available?
Thursday and Sunday nights only. The woodfire oven is not lit on Friday or Saturday, so the pizzas are not on the menu those nights. Dinner service runs 5pm to 9pm.
How much are the pizzas?
Five pizzas from $18 to $28. The Niya is $18, The Emily and The Ash are $26, The Jovi is $27 and The Praneel is $28. Vegan cheese can be substituted on any of them for $2 more.
Can I get the pizzas as takeaway?
Yes. Order through Uber Eats and collect from the venue. It is pickup only — there is no delivery — and takeaway is available during all opening hours, Thursday to Sunday, with the pizzas themselves on Thursday and Sunday nights.
What is the dough?
A 36-hour sourdough, finished with Mount.Zero extra virgin olive oil and Pecorino Romano, cooked in the woodfire oven.
Are any of the pizzas vegetarian or vegan?
The Niya, The Emily and The Ash are vegetarian. Any pizza can be made with vegan cheese for $2 more, which makes The Emily and The Ash vegan as ordered — check with your server, since toppings change with the season.
Are the pizzas gluten free?
No. All five woodfire pizzas contain gluten and are marked G on the menu, and the kitchen does not make a gluten free base. Coeliac guests have twenty-five other dishes on the à la carte that contain no gluten at all, including a crab lasagne made with gluten free sheets.
Is Thursday pizza night the same as trivia night?
Yes, they land on the same evening. Trivia starts at 7pm, free entry, six rounds of ten questions, and the woodfire oven is going alongside it. The room fills early on a Thursday, so book ahead.
