Sculpture at the Cellar Door
Meet the Makers
Sculpture has moved in. As part of the Queanbeyan-Palerang Arts Trail our restaurant and the vineyard grounds are adorned with sculpture — and on Saturday 10 October at 3pm we’re opening the doors for an afternoon with the artists who made them.
Arrive to a glass of sparkling — or non-alcoholic bubbles, poured with the same ceremony — and a house-made Wild Harvest Board. Then wander, to enjoy the art and meet the makers. A slow Saturday in the hills, a good drink in hand, and the rare chance to ask an artist the question you’d otherwise have to read off a wall label.

Live at Aranya: Celtic Folk
The next night in our Live at Aranya series — a five-piece of classically trained musicians playing traditional music with real fire. Founded by Gypsy and Veronica, their repertoire wanders from Ireland, Scotland and Wales to Brittany, Galicia, Romania, Turkey and Klezmer — in the spirit of Lúnasa, Flook and Altan. The dining room seats only a small number, which is exactly the point: close enough to watch the fingers move. Dinner and drinks served through the evening.
