Aranya Acres is home to Sapling Yard Wines — an independent, small-batch winery that produces its wines right here on our 25-acre property in Wamboin, just 30 minutes from Canberra's CBD. Sapling Yard sources their grapes from two exceptional cool-climate sites: Charleys Forest in Braidwood and Tumbarumba.
The vines on the property are currently undergoing maintenance work — a natural part of caring for the land. In the meantime, the winery continues producing here, and the cellar is very much open.

Sapling Yard Wines
Sapling Yard is an independently-owned, small-batch winery with its production home at Aranya Acres. Their grapes are sourced from two outstanding cool-climate regions — Charleys Forest in Braidwood and Tumbarumba — and the wine is made right here on the property. Minimal intervention, maximum character.
Alongside Sapling Yard, our cellar list draws from the best of the Canberra District — Pankhurst, Surveyor's Hill, Lark Hill, and Poachers Pantry. Every pour is chosen for its character and its connection to this region.

We recommend booking ahead — especially Thursday to Sunday when demand is highest. Walk-ins are welcome when seats are available.
