Most planning days happen in a hotel function room with the blinds down and sandwiches at noon, and everybody knows it. The alternative is twenty-five acres of vines, a dining room with light on three sides, a kitchen that cooks the same menu it serves on a Saturday night, and a drive short enough that the team is still home at a reasonable hour. The work gets done either way. People are measurably more willing to do it somewhere that does not look like the office.

How a Day Runs
Lunch in the Middle of It
The usual shape is a working session, a long lunch at one table, a second session, and the option of a glass on the lawn before the drive back rather than a scatter to the car park.
The restaurant opens at 11am, so that is the natural start for a standard booking. If your day needs to begin earlier, exclusive bookings can be arranged — tell us the shape you want and we will tell you plainly what works.

No venue hire fee — most bookings run on a minimum spend instead, and smaller groups often run with none at all. There is no public guest Wi-Fi, so bring a hotspot if your day needs one.

What Lunch Costs
Twelve to thirty guests eat from the two-course set menu, priced by tier — Vegetarian $67, White Meat $72, Pescatarian $76, Red Meat $80 — each main with the Summer Leaf Salad, and the table mixing freely across tiers. Dessert adds $16, the Wild Harvest Board on arrival adds $19 a head. Above thirty it becomes a function with a space of your own and a Custom Shared Banquet from $70 per person. Drinks sit on a bar tab you cap in advance, so an afternoon session is not competing with an open bar.

Whoever is booking this is doing it on top of their actual job. One point of contact, a quote with our ABN on it and GST included, dietaries confirmed in writing, and a venue that is wheelchair accessible throughout — entrance, seating, toilet and car park.
Credit terms can be arranged in advance for corporate and government accounts, and we will format a quote for a purchase order if you need one.

Common Questions
What days can we book a planning day?
The restaurant trades Thursday to Sunday, and Thursday and Friday are the natural days for a working offsite. Monday to Wednesday can be arranged for exclusive bookings — ask when you enquire and we will confirm your date.
Can we start in the morning?
Normal trading starts at 11am, so a standard booking runs as a long lunch and an afternoon. Earlier starts are possible by arrangement for exclusive bookings. Tell us the shape of the day you want in your enquiry and we will tell you what is workable.
Is there a screen and a microphone?
Yes. Standard AV — a microphone, a screen and sound — comes with every function at no extra charge, which covers a presentation, a welcome or a round of short talks. If your day needs more than that, say so when you enquire so we can be straight with you about it.
Is there Wi-Fi?
No — there is no public guest Wi-Fi at the venue, so plan for a day that does not depend on it, or bring a mobile hotspot. Mobile reception is generally fine. We would rather tell you now than have you find out at 10am with twelve people in the room.
Can we have the room to ourselves?
Semi-private and exclusive use are both available, depending on your numbers and the date. The dining room and bar sit in one connected space looking over the vines, seating twelve to eighty.
How do dietary requirements work?
They are confirmed in writing with your final numbers fourteen days out, so nobody is negotiating at the table. Every dish is coded for gluten and thirteen other allergens, the kitchen runs separate preparation areas and equipment for gluten free orders, and vegetarian, vegan and allergy needs are catered as a matter of course.
Can the day finish with a drink?
Yes, and it is the main argument for coming out here. Drinks run on a bar tab — you choose a tier and nominate a limit in advance, everything is rung in at menu price as it is poured, and there is no clock on it. Parking is free and guests can leave a car overnight.
Can you invoice us?
Yes. Quotes carry our ABN (11 658 879 497), pricing includes GST, and credit terms can be arranged in advance for corporate and government accounts. Mention a purchase order in your enquiry if you need the quote formatted for one.
